Client Situation

  • A public organisation advising the Government and working in partnership with a multiple of other public organisations. The Chief Executive Officer required extensive support in developing their Executive Board as an exemplary leadership team and aligning the Board and the rest of the organisation behind their challenging business agenda

Our Role 

  • Launch of leadership development programme (Value Driven Alignment) for the Executive Board to support then in embedding the vision, strategic outputs, shifts and behaviours throughout the organisation

Outputs 

  • Established clear vision for the CEO and the Executive Board and steps to be taken to achieve this vision
  • Engaged and aligned the Executive Board behind the business agenda
  • Implemented ways of working which were consistent with the business strategy and which would maximise future performance
  • Defined roles and accountabilities and established clear ownership for the Executive Board, individually and collectively
  • Increased the effectiveness and efficiency for delivery of the strategic outputs
  • Created an exemplary leadership team
  • New phase of work began with the next tier of Senior Management to engage external stakeholders in delivering collaborative leadership across multiple organisations to understand challenges and opportunities faced as organisations, teams and businesses
